Dear Colleagues,
Prof. Tabarez Niyazi (National University of Singapore), Prof. Lecheler (University of Vienna), and I are co-editing a special issue on Computational Propaganda from the Global South: Understudies Contexts and Emerging Platforms for Political Communication. We are seeking contributions that deal with the theoretical, empirical, and methodological aspects of the manipulation of minds online and the ways through which non-democratic forces in the Global South employ computational techniques and methods to divide societies, amplify disagreements, create chaos, and replace dialogue with cacophony. The deadline for extended abstracts is September 15th. The full CFP can be found here:
Please do not hesitate to contact me or other guest editors if you have any questions.
Best.
