Oxford University Press (OUP) has agreements with institutions and consortia which provide funding for Open Access publication. These agreements provide the academic community with transparent, flexible, and inclusive options for open access publishing in ICA journals, and means eligible authors from participating institutions can publish Open Access, and the institution will cover the charge.

Find out if your institution has an agreement with OUP and how to make use of institutional funding for your article.

How can authors affiliated with participating institutions make use of the OA funds?

To be eligible for one of OUP’s Read and Publish agreements, the corresponding author must provide their qualifying institution as their primary affiliation when they submit their manuscript. After submission, changing who is designated as the corresponding author will be permitted only where there is a substantive reason to do so. For the avoidance of doubt, changing the corresponding author in order to access Read and Publish funding is not permissible.
