    Dear all,

I am going to propose a new Temporary Working Group (TWG) in Computational propaganda and digital authoritarianism. It will be submitted to the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA). The call from ECREA can be found here:

The ECREA Temporary Working Groups (TWGs) are fora for discussing topics and disseminating knowledge in sub-fields of media and communication research. TWGs have the same remit as ECREA sections but TWGs will only be established for a term of 4 years in the first instance.

This TWG will focus on investigating the ways through which computational propaganda has been employed to disrupt and manipulate online organic communication from theoretical and methodological perspectives.

If you are interested in being part of this potential TWG, please send me your CV and a short motivation letter by Monday, March 20, 2023. If you have any questions, please get in touch!

    Sincerely yours.

    Hossein
