For folks who'll be in the NYC area on Tuesday, April 29th, we will be holding an in-person memorial tribute for Gary Gumpert at the Players, sponsored by the Institute of General Semantics, the Urban Communication Foundation, the Media Ecology Association, and the New York Society for General Semantics. The event will also feature a screening of a rarely seen 1960 UHF TV program produced and directed by Gary Gumpert, entitled The Gutenberg Galaxy, featuring Marshall McLuhan, accompanied by Harley Parker and Robert Shafer.
