    Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to participate in or share information about the research study titled Communication & Identity After Sexual Violence. The project aims to learn about communication, identity, and life after experiencing sexual violence of any type. This research team, including Dr. Ronald L. Jackson, Charlotte Wise and me, are building on work I presented at ICA 2025 in the Feminist Scholarship Division.

The study involves a short survey followed by an optional 45-60 minute virtual interview. Our gender-diverse team consists of researchers at the University of Miami (IRB Protocol #20251223) and the University of Colorado Boulder who have also experienced sexual violence. We are committed to creating a supportive and compassionate environment for all participants.

Participants must be over the age of 18 and have experienced sexual violence of any type. If you or anyone you know might fit the study, we ask that you consider sharing or viewing the survey here: https://bit.ly/svIdentityStudy

We would also appreciate if you would share information about this study with your networks by forwarding this information or sharing this flyer: https://bit.ly/SVResearchFlyer

If you have any questions regarding this study, please feel free to reach out to me (Hadassah Ward) at mhwa2524@colorado.edu, Charlotte Wise at cxw1065@miami.edu, or the lead investigator, Dr. Jackson, at ron.jackson@miami.edu.

    Sending the absolute best,

    Hadassah Ward
