The Visual Media Lab at the University of Iowa School of Journalism and Mass Communication invites you to join the Visual Media Symposium 2024, held next Monday (4/8) from 16:00 to 19:30 ET. Three guest speakers are joining us: Dr. Bryce Dietrich, Dr. Cindy Shen, and Dr. T.J. Thomson, experts in visual communication. They will discuss the current challenges and opportunities presented by synthetic media in the contemporary media environment, as well as how visuals can be utilized as data to address social scientific questions.
