Hey everyone :) Before the next ICA conference in Australia, the Computational Methods division & the Communication Science and Biology interest group will again host a pre-conference hackathon. The main goal of the hackathon is to encourage open, non-competitive collaboration across communication subfields utilizing computational and "big data" methods. Over two fun days, you will collaborate on computational projects and meet interesting new people.
Participating in the hackathon requires
no programming experience, and the organizers encourage those of all skill levels to attend!
Especially if you are a young scholar and/or first-time attendee, the hackathon is great to meet new people before the main conference starts.
