    Dear ICA Members, 

    Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the 2026 KACA Conference in beautiful Honolulu! The conference will be held from Friday, January 2, to Monday, January 5, 2026, at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, USA. This is a fantastic venue to share your research, connect with fellow scholars, and contribute to the vibrant Korean American communication community. 

    Submission Deadline: Sunday, August 31, 2025 (just one week away!)

    Submission Formats:

    1. Full research paper (6000-9000 words excluding references, tables, figures, etc.)
    2. Extended abstract (completed research or research in progress in 500 words excluding references, tables, figures, etc.)
    Submission Deadline: August 31 (Sunday), 2025 at 11:59 PM, Eastern Time
    Submission Guidelines: Submit your manuscript (anonymized for blind review) and a separate cover page to kacacon2026@gmail.com. 
    Awards & Grants Opportunities:
    Top paper awards (one for the open competition and one for the student competition) will include a cash prize and a certificate. Only completed paper submissions will be considered for these awards. Contingent on funding approval, KACA will provide hotel accommodation during the conference to eligible graduate students whose papers are accepted (one participant per paper) through a grant application process.
