The School of Journalism and Communication at Peking University invites applications for the 2026 International Summer School on "Communication, Technology, and Culture," to be held in Beijing from July 7 to July 17, 2026.
This 11-day English-taught program offers students an opportunity to explore the dynamic intersections of communication, digital technology, AI, media innovation, and Chinese culture. Hosted at Peking University, the program combines academic lectures, industry visits, cultural immersion, and student presentations. Participants will engage with topics such as AI and media, digital governance, media development and social transformation, visual culture, creative industries, and cross-cultural communication.
The program is especially suitable for undergraduate and graduate students interested in communication, journalism, media studies, digital culture, technology studies, and creative industries. Students will attend lectures by distinguished scholars and industry experts, visit leading technology and media organizations, and experience Beijing's rich historical and cultural heritage.

Eligibility
Applicants should be aged 18–40, in good health, currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited university outside mainland China, and have a strong academic record.
