In response to strong interest and numerous inquiries, we are pleased to extend the deadline for the ICA 2026 preconference "Whose Protest Counts? Power and Exclusion in Online Activism" til 31 January 2026.

We invite original, rigorous, and innovative contributions that critically explore how power, participation, and inequality shape digital activism today. Why do some voices resonate while others remain unheard? How do socioeconomic structures, policy regimes, and platform logics enable or constrain activism across contexts? For the call, please see attached file.
