Hello, I'm new to ICA and unfamiliar with the networking process. I'm quite shy when it comes to meeting new people, and my imposter syndrome adds to my hesitation. I'm posting this message to connect with individuals who are interested in networking. If you'd like to meet and network, please respond, and we can coordinate a convenient time. I'm a Venezuelan scholar with a keen interest in media technology and culture. At the moment, I'm specifically focusing on human-AI social-emotional relationships.

Hi Luis,  welcome to ICA! A few things that might be of interest as a new member... This page has some helpful tips for first time attendees.  Being new, I'd recommend going to the new member orientation (I'll be there, look for me to say hello!)  and any business meetings for your divisions/interest groups and any welcome meetings/receptions they are hosting.

When you get your badge, please be sure to grab a "First time attendee" ribbon - more seasoned ICA goers will go out of their way to say hello!
