Do you have experience teaching The Associated Press Stylebook? Do you have strong convictions about methods of teaching AP Style in college classrooms? Which methods have you found effective or ineffective? Our research team is interested in hearing your experience and perspective.
I am Brian Delaney, a faculty member in the School of Communication and Journalism at Auburn University. Our research team invites you to participate in a 10- to 15-minute survey that is exploring teaching and design practices for AP Style instruction in college journalism environments. The title of our research study is "Instructor Perceptions of AP Style Teaching Methods in Journalism Education."

If you are interested, toward the end of the survey, you can opt into the qualitative interview phase of the study, and one of our research team members will contact you. We anticipate that one interview will take about 45-60 minutes to complete.
For more specifics on the nature of this study:
• There are no expected risks to you, the participant
• Three participants will be randomly selected to receive a $20 Amazon gift card
• Participants can withdraw from the study at any time
• Your name, title, and affiliation will be kept confidential throughout the research study. Our research team will de-identify all data during analysis and writing stages of the project.
