Introducing Public Not Perish: A Newsletter for Academic Writers

  • 1.  Introducing Public Not Perish: A Newsletter for Academic Writers

Writing became really difficult for me in the first few years of graduate school. Since then I've devoted a lot of time to learning how to be a productive and happy writer. Newsletter topics will include writing resistance, finding time to write, overcoming imposter syndrome, work life balance, writing as project management, and the list goes on.

    - If you feel like your career doesn't look like you want it to in terms of how you write or how much time you spend writing, then this newsletter is for you.

    - If you feel like you have lost, or never really gained, an ability to write without fear, then this newsletter is for you.

    - If you work with others who experience any of these challenges, then this newsletter is for you.

Publish Not Perish is primarily aimed at graduate students, early career scholars, and those who mentor writers, but I hope even more seasoned writers will identify with the content.
