The Canadian Centre for Research Analysis and Methods (CCRAM) operating out of the University of Calgary is pleased to be able to announce that enrollment is now open for several in-person learning opportunities for burgeoning and veteran communication researchers interested in further developing their skills in research design and data analysis.
(1) In partnership with the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, CCRAM is offering two in-person courses at Smith's fantastic SmithToronto facility in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on May 14-15, 2026. The courses offered are
· "Introduction to Mediation, Moderation, and Conditional Process Analysis", taught by Andrew F. Hayes (University of Calgary and creator of the PROCESS macro)
· "Measuring Individual Differences", taught by Jessica Flake (University of British Columbia and of "measurement-schmeasurement" fame).
Early-bird registration is available until April 14, 2026. Space is limited and classes may close before this date. For more information and how to register, see https://haskayne.ucalgary.ca/ccram/sessions#toronto
(2) CCRAM's 4th annual Rocky Mountain Methodology Academy (RMMA) will take place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, July 14-22, 2026, at the University of Calgary. Courses are either two or three days in length and include
"Introduction to Mixed Methods Research" (taught by Cheryl Poth, University of Alberta and coauthor of the popular Qualitative Inquiry & Research Design)
"Introduction to Multilevel Modeling" (taught by Jason Rights, University of British Columbia)
"Statistical Mediation Analysis" (taught by Andrew Hayes, University of Calgary and author of Introduction to Mediation, Moderation, and Conditional Process Analysis: A Regression-Based Approach)
"Longitudinal Data Analysis and Visualization" (taught by Andrea Howard, Carleton University)
"Introduction to Structural Equation Modeling" (taught by Doug Baer, University of Victoria)
"Statistical Moderation Analysis" (taught by Andrew Hayes, University of Calgary)
"Modern Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis" (taught by Piers Steel, cocreator of the HubMeta tool, University of Calgary)
As always, a day trip to Banff (one of Canada's most popular tourist destinations) on July 19, 2026, is included with your RMMA tuition if you register while space is still available. Early-bird registration is available until May 15, 2026, while space is available.
