    ICA Kids 2023

ICA is pleased to present ICA Kids 2023 for parents in need of childcare during the annual conference from Friday, 26 to Monday, 29 May.

This year, ICA has again partnered with KiddieCorp a US based professional childcare agency; they are the same agency we worked with in San Diego (2017), DC (2019) and Paris (2022). The KiddieCorp team encompasses a staff of highly trained, enthusiastic, qualified caregivers.

ICA Kids will be available for 10 hours each day of the main conference, Friday through Monday, from 08:00 to 18:00 for children 6 months to 12 years. We regret that due to space concerns, staffing, and budget, we are unable to provide ICA childcare for evenings or for the pre/post conference days. If needed, we recommend contacting your hotel to inquire about trusted partners for in-room babysitting.

As space is at a premium, we highly recommend you sign up early to reserve your child's space in the program. If we do not have the minimum number of children registered required by our contract; we may be forced to cancel ICA Kids this year at which point you would be refunded in full for any advance payment.

    • Free Childcare for ICA Student Parents: Beginning May 2021, a fundraising T-shirt became available via the ICA Store. All proceeds from the sale of this shirt go to a fund to provide free childcare for the children of student attendees of ICA conferences (childcare is already heavily subsidized by ICA, but this additional funding is available for student parents to remove the remainder of the US$7 hourly fee).
      • Anyone and everyone is welcome help support ICA student parents by ordering a T-shirt.
      • Student Parents - to apply for the subsidized funding: Please select this option under the payment section on the KiddieCorp registration form. KiddieCorp will confirm your conference registration as a student member with Julie Arnold prior to granting the waived hourly fee. If you are not an ICA member, please also email Julie Arnold with a subject line "ICA Kids 2023: Student Parent Application" include a statement affirming that you are a student and detailing your institution.

You are also welcome to "drop in" and register on-site; however, we cannot guarantee space will be available for drop-ins.
