The keynote speakers for this preconference are these world class scholars: Professor Tim Coombs and Distinguished Professor Jim Macnamara.
We will also have a special issue in Journal of Communication Management (Communication Q1 journal; impact factor is 3.1 and 5-year impact factor is 3.4) for this preconference. The title for the special issue is, Impacts of Strategic Communication: Beyond Organization-Centric Goals. Besides welcoming submissions focusing on this theme, we also highly encourage submissions focusing non-Western and Global South perspectives on social impact of strategic communication for this special issue. We appreciate the great support from this journal.
We are partnering with the International Forum on Public Relations & Advertising Conference (PRAD), the Public Relations Scholars' Community (PRSC, formerly Public Relations Society of China), and the Asia Pacific Public Relations Research and Education Network (APPRREN).
This conference is affiliated with the ICA Public Relations Division, and the Global Communication and Social Change Divisions. We appreciate the support from the ICA Organizational Communication Division and the Public Diplomacy Interest Group.
We are in the process of planning more exciting programs for this preconference and will share more updates whenever they are available. Look forward to seeing you all in Sydney!
