We invite you to attend our Blue Sky Pedagogical Workshop on Equitable Grading Practices in Communication. Equitable Grading Practices in Communication is a workshop focused on introducing and guiding communication faculty on the core principles of equitable grading practices (Feldman, 2018). The three pillars of equitable grading are that grades should be accurate, bias resistant, and motivational. The workshop introduces participants to these pillars and how they may be applied in our discipline and has them workshop their syllabus policies to reflect the principles of grading for equity. The workshop will be from 3 p.m. - 4:15 p.m., Friday, June 13 in Mt. Harvard (Grand 3).
