    Hunting for relevant literature!

I am studying how we bring various message forms such as speech, written text, still image, moving image together in our mediated interactions. These message forms have been labelled as 'modes' by Parks (2017) and as 'multimodal text' by Martinec and Salway (2005). I also came across that  Jenkins (2005) has noted that  digitalization created 'a new language' of combination of 'words, images and sounds.'(Fortunati and Bakardjieva, 2020; pg 82).

Will be grateful if I can get details of some more works that deal with this subject matter.

    Thanks in advance!

(PS: I hope the above description helps in clarifying what I am looking for 😊. If not please feel free to raise questions.)
