Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to invite you to our BlueSky Workshop "What is Media Influence in 2024?", taking place during ICA in Australia. This workshop was designed as an opportunity to raise critical questions about the actors, practices, and technologies through which influence is exercised today. Our hope is to create the space where scholars from different backgrounds and at different career stages can reflect upon what "influence" means in our contemporary media landscape.
Join us to discuss what media influence means, the problems with this concept, and how leading scholars in the field have been working with (or around) this concept.
When: Friday, June 21st at 3pm.
