On The Link there are two different community types:
- Division and interest group communities
- Public communities
Divisions and interest group communities
If you joined a division or interest group while renewing your ICA membership, then you will have access to their community on The Link.
If you did not join a specific DIV/IG when you renewed your membership, then you will only be able to see their activities on The Link. You will not be able to engage and reply to any of their discussions.
If you would like to join a division or interest group's community, then please send me an email at membership@icahdq.org. I would be more than happy to assist you with updating your division and interest group memberships.
Public communities
Public communities are communities like the Public Channel or the Student and Early Career Resource Hub, where any member of ICA can join and engage. Simply search for all the communities you can join, and click on the "join" button next to the community name.
