What is the "Ask Me Anything – Editor Edition?"
Simply stated, it's a thread of submitted questions and answers (as you've probably seen on Reddit) hosted on The Link. In this case, the AMA 'hosts' are our ICA journal editors who have graciously volunteered more of their time to host a virtual Q&A. Conference attendees are encouraged to participate on 28 May, Friday 11am – 12pm EDT and ask questions relating to all matters publications such as best practices for submitting an article, what makes a good review, what pets our editors have.
To accommodate all time zones, questions can be submitted to the thread beginning 27 May, Thursday 9am EDT through 28 May, Friday 12pm EDT. Please note, editors will only be live answering during the Friday session.
How to join this community?
Click on the Communities tab in the menu bar > select My Communities > in the drop-down select "Communities to which I belong or can join" then click the join button next to the Ask Me Anything – Editor Edition community.
Please note, the ability to write a discussion post in this community is currently closed. However, as mentioned above, on 27 May followers of this group will be able to submit their questions to the Ask Me Anything -Editor Edition community.
In the meantime, join this new community and we encourage you to brainstorm in preparation for the AMA event.
